Many
organisations are heavily reliant on IT to underpin the
operations. A systems failure can be catastrophic, leading
to downtime, loss of valuable information and general disruption
to business.
Nightwatch offers automatic
round-the-clock monitoring of critical IT systems providing
a vital warning of potential problems. By alerting staff
immediately, corrective action can be taken and a crisis
can be avoided.

NT/2000/XP, Nightwatch monitoring includes:
- Server Crashes
- NT/W2K Event Logs, Exchange,
SAP, Oracle
- Disk Space, Backups, ArcServe,
Legato
- Unix SYSLOG and Novell
Netware log errors.
- SNMP
- IP 'ping' fails
- Email/WEB page efficiency
and content
Across the following
platforms:
- Microsoft NT/2000/XP
- Digital VAX/Alpha OpenVMS
- UNIX (AIX, HP-UX, DEC-UNIX,

When specified events occur
or thresholds are reached, Nightwatch automatically notifies
authorised personnel and delivers an alert message. The
alert can be sent via alphanumeric pager, mobile phone,
email, log file or other methods.
Nightwatch offers the added
benefit of allowing notification to individuals, groups,
hierarchies with alert escalation to an unlimited number
of contacts.
Staff remain in control,
even when they are away from the office or off-site. By
using the Remote Web Browser function users can gain access
to Nightwatch via the internet and perform system check
from any location.
